I have taken the Myers Briggs survey twice in my career (along with another similar "product") so I am familiar with these types of personality trait assessments. I appreciate the analysis provided for the different dimensions and facets. In the recommended careers section, there are some careers that are in black (whereas most of them are in orange) and there is no explanation for the difference--what is the significance?

Most comprehensive personality test I've taken. I really enjoyed having the ability to delve into the traits associated with each dimension of my personality.

I appreciate the added insights into my personality type INFP, where the analysis breaks down each component into traits and shows where I score on a percentage scale. Additionally, the overall percentage ranking of personality types is useful. Now it makes sense that sometimes I exhibit one trait in one situation and the opposite in another. The analogy of being categorized as one type but the actual position on the spectrum creating a unique personality fingerprint is especially fascinating to me.

I love this new test. It is so interesting to see the percentage breakdowns within each letter. Even though I am overall 60% P and 40% J, in one of the components that make up this section I come up as 83% J.
It's great to also see the % for each temperament and also how similar I am to other profiles.
I think you could add SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) as a Career for my type (INTP). I have my own SEO business and absolutely love it and since the inventors of Google are both supposed to be INTP it explains why my type just gets Google.

I'm very impressed with the Typefinder 2.0 assessment! As someone who regularly blogs about the INFJ personality type, I'm familiar with personality typology and always skeptical about new online tests, but Truity does a great job of creating scientific assessments that very accurately predict personality type. I really like how this assessment measures 23 facets of personality, making it much more thorough than most other online assessments. The results explain the facets of each dimension of personality in a clear, easy-to-understand way. I also like how it shows me how my results match up with other personality types. For example, I'm 86% INFJ but my next closest match is 71% INTJ. This is helpful for people who aren't confident in their personality type and want to examine other options. I highly recommend this assessment.

Not only this test will help you find your four-letter personality type (INTJ, ESFJ, INTP, etc.), it will also show you the percentage you scored for each faculty so you can see areas where you are borderline. What I particularly liked about the new version is that it gives you percentages for other personality types too. For example, if you scored 85% for the ESTJ type, you are an ESTJ, but you may have scored 80% for the ESTP type as well. In this case, reading about the ESTP type may be very helpful since a lot of ESTP traits resonate with you. Another way to use this feature is to analyze your compatibility with other personality types. If you are scoring high for some other personality types, chances are you will find it easier to understand them and to deal with them.

The New TypeFinder is a great tool for not only learning and understanding oneself, but colleagues, friends and relationship partners too. At CV Saviour, we highly recommend it to our clients because it can really help job seekers understand where their personal strengths can be put to use in the careers. It's also helpful for those seeking a new career direction, or those who feel stuck in a rut, unsure of whether their skills, knowledge and experience is best aligned to the careers they are currently in. Having been through Myers Briggs testing twice in my corporate career, TypeFinder has proven to be just as accurate. I highly recommend it.
